On December 19, I
brought Dad the get well
cards my third grade
class had made for him.
He was smiling as I put
them around the room
for him to see. It seemed
to brighten his day. This
was the last time I saw
Dad awake. I told him I'd
see him tomorrow, and
he said, "I'll be here."
That night at 8:00, he went into respiratory failure and was placed on
a ventilator.
Now he lives on in heaven with
our mom. We love you Dad (
Grandpa / Uncle Bob, Fraz
) and we'll see
you again very soon. I know you are saying "I'll be here".
