MRS. NORA V. DOELLE Mrs. Nora V. Doelle, 86, a resident of the Yale and Roseburg area for 60 years, died Tuesday, November 30, 1993 at Yale Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Freda Strutz Knust, born October 17, 1907 in Romeo. Her marriage to Edward Doelle was in Rochester May 26, 1933. His death was in 1973. She was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a B.A. in education and retired in 1972 from elementary teaching at Croswell-Lexington School. Mrs. Doelle was a member of Trinity Missionary Church, Yale, for 46 years, was a very active youth leader and member of W.M.S. and also taught Sunday School. She had been a 4-H leader in Sanilac County for 26 years. Surviving are three daughters and husbands, Donna and Richard Murray of Farmington Hills, Carol Pirie of Melvin, and Bonnie and Gary Bruney of Davison; 11 grandchildren, Lynda, Larry, Lori, Loren, Leon Murray; Robert, Richard, and Rachelle Pirie; John, James and Jeffrey Bruney and 14 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. Preceding her death was a grandson, Roger Pirie, brothers, Walter and Roy and a sister, Ella Miller. Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Trinity Missionary Church, Yale, with burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Yale. Her grandsons were pallbearers. Memorials are to the church World Partners.
